How to Use Instagram Live Format

We’re separating Live from the Format pack because it’s the most complicated of the options.

Basically, Live allows you to live stream content and send it out to your followers. It’s incredibly easy to use. Just choose live, press the capture button, and you’re set. Just be sure to let people know when you’re streaming.

Not too long ago, Instagram added the ability to save your Live videos as a story. At the end of your broadcast, you’ll see a “Share” option appear on-screen. Simply choose that option and your video will be added to Stories for the usual 24 hour period.

If you want to save the stream footage permanently, you’re going to have to choose to add it to your Instagram feed. To do so, just choose the “Save” option that appears on the top right of the screen at the end of your video.

How to Find Trending or Popular Instagram Hashtags Using Keyword Tool?

Depending on your requirements, you can use Keyword Tool to generate a list of popular and trending long-tail Instagram hashtags.

To use Keyword Tool for Instagram hashtags, just enter a word related to the topic of your post into the search box and press enter. Within seconds, you will see a list of hashtags that you can use for your posts or stories.

You can enter different related words or synonyms in the search box to make the tool generate more hashtag suggestions. Besides the hashtags suggestions, Keyword Tool will show you the number of posts that Instagram has for every hashtag.

If you want to find only popular or trending Instagram hashtags, you can use “Filter Results” from the drop-down menu to get Keyword Tool to show you hashtags that have a particular number of posts. By using filters, you can choose either the most or the least popular hashtags depending on your needs.

What is the use of Hashtag in Instagram?

If you include the right Instagram hashtags on your posts, you will likely see higher engagement than you would if you didn’t have any.

Why?

Because hashtags—a combination of letters, numbers, and emoji preceded by the # symbol (e.g. #NoFilter, #WorldCup)—categorize content and make it more discoverable. Anyone who clicks on a hashtag or searches for it will see a page with all the posts tagged with it.

How high up on a hashtag page your post appears depends on:

  • How often it’s used
  • How popular your post is (does it already have a lot of likes and comments?)
  • When you shared it (you find many old posts on hashtag searches)
  • The strength of your audience (ie. do you have a large, engaged audience?)

The higher your post appears, the better, as it will be more discoverable by people who don’t already follow you.
